Hey, love...I see you.

Wake up dreading the work day, stumble around looking for any clothes that aren’t dirty (and match), search for your keys, scramble to get to work on time, plop down in your chair and whewww….buuutt dammit your coworker brought donuts again and you forgot your sandwich…stomach grumbling you give in, wash it down with some coffee so you can fly through the next hour until you crash and burn.
Something you know is a small issue suddenly feels like the end of the world and you excuse yourself to go and bawl your eyes out in the bathroom. Take a walk to clear your head and stop at the corner store to grab something. The only thing that looks good is a bag of chips, which you don’t even feel guilty for eating it’s been such a stressful day.
Finish the whole thing, feel sick, pound another coffee to keep going (did someone switch this to decaf or am I just broken?) Watch the clock, the minutes drag, avoid your boss, ignore your coworker’s cheesy jokes, battle home, pass on the gym because it’s wayyy too packed, cancel happy hour drinks, skip the grocery store, order takeout and fall into bed with all your makeup on, thanking the universe for Netflix. Stay up far too late watching Friends reruns then fall asleep with your cat chewing your hair.
And repeat.

I’ll never forget the moment it all changed for me. My health had started to take such a hit from the way I was living that I was asking myself...how can my body be breaking down at 24?
By this point I was already vegan, I worked out, had good people in my life….but it still wasn’t the answer. Luckily for me, a guardian angel friend of mine gave me a book that changed how I thought about EVERYTHING.
I started to put the steps in the book into practice and saw HUGE gains, my body started to heal itself, my acne cleared up for the first time in my life, I lost weight, my yeast infections and depression cleared up and I had boundless energy WITHOUT being hungry! The craziest thing of all was that the cavities that I’d had in my teeth started to close up!
I felt so amazing, and so astounded that my body could heal itself just by changing a few things that I started to learn more and go deeper into health so that I could share this information with the people I cared about. The more I learned, the more I realized that a lot of the things we’ve been taught are just plain WRONG and so it’s no wonder millions of people are suffering.

The 20s is a time for experimentation. I got my degree in human development and then went to work. I worked in the farmers market, in offices, in schools, in senior homes. As I entered new jobs and new fields I met a lot of people who were suffering as I had been.
Many of them didn’t even realize it, but there were those telltale signs...bags under the eyes, extra weight, a giant coffee always in hand, sadness, lack of motivation, always getting sick, etc.
I started teaching classes but I wanted to go deeper, to really support people in changing their lives. A friend of mine kept telling me: you need to be a coach...you need to be a coach! At first I shrugged it off. Who was I to coach other people?
But as time went on I started to see how many women were suffering as I was.

See, information is great, but if knowing what you needed to do was all that mattered, the world would be a different place.
I wanted to learn how to help people make changes that stick. A class can enlighten, but coaching gives the individualized support to make those changes stick. No two people are alike, and so no two protocols will look the same.
And the more I started to work with clients the more I saw that this was true.

So after a year I created my 5 step signature system - The Body Lab Blueprint - that quickly and easily identified the exact things that were stopping or slowing down a client from having the energy -and the life- that they wanted.
It’s based on finding the smallest steps that create the maximum impact, all while being MORE enjoyable than the bad habit it’s replacing.
And the results have been phenomenal.
